My neice, Lindsay, had her baby yesterday and he weighed 10 lbs 2 oz. I vaguely remember what it's like to push out a large baby. Only vaguely. Isn't he cute? Well done, Darleys!
While "blogstalking" early this morning, I came upon your name listed among some excellent blogs I love to read. It was a bright flashback to March of 1968, Harvard Square, Garden Street Cooperative Preschool, where I was so wonderfully replaced as teacher of the "threes" by a delightful young woman I've long since observed from a distance. I've read everything I've found that she's authored, and long admired so much about her. YOU! I accept the fact that I must be older than I feel -- to remember a time 41+ years ago like it was just yesterday. Are your memories of that era fond ones? Hope so, and still wish you the best.
Kerren, I can't believe you popped up out of my past like that. Yes, indeed, I remember Cambridge as the Golden Years. My dearest friends come from that era. What have you been up to?
